The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the Class 12 results for 2025. Raushani Kumari, the daughter of an auto driver, has secured the top position in the Commerce stream. She scored 95% marks, showcasing an inspiring journey of perseverance and dedication.

From this year, the Bihar School Examination Board has doubled the prize money given to the students who have secured first 05 rank in all the three streams i.e. Science, Commerce and Arts in the Intermediate Annual Examination.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is expected to announce the Class 12 special and compartmental exam results for 2025 on May 31.

If a student is not satisfied with their score in any one subject or all subjects based on the examination results released today, the committee is providing an opportunity for scrutiny.

Such students can apply online for scrutiny of their answer sheet from April 1, 2025, to April 8, 2025. Detailed information in this regard will be provided later through a notification.

Out of a total of 6,11,365 students who appeared for the BSEB Inter Exams 2025, 5,05,884 passed, while 1,05,481 failed, recording a pass percentage of 86.56%. Compared to the previous year, when 87.21% of students passed, the pass percentage has declined slightly.

In the Commerce stream, 94.77 per cent of students have passed the exam.

A website with the URL results.biharboard.com.in is falsely claiming that the Bihar Board BSEB Class 12 Inter results will be declared on March 27 at 10am. This information is not official. The website has also stated that the BSEB Class 10 Matric results will be released on April 5, which is also incorrect.

Several websites falsely claim to represent the Bihar Board. Students of Classes 12 and 10 are strongly advised to be cautious and avoid accessing such fraudulent sites while checking their results.

Last year, the Bihar Board (BSEB) increased the prize money for Class 12 toppers. First-rank holders in the board exams (Class 10 and 12) now receive Rs 2 lakh, up from Rs 1 lakh. Second-rank holders are awarded Rs 1.5 lakh, doubling the previous Rs 75,000, while third-rank students receive Rs 1 lakh, an increase from Rs 50,000. Those securing fourth to tenth ranks now get Rs 30,000 instead of Rs 15,000. In addition to cash prizes, top-ranking students are also awarded a laptop, a certificate, and a medal.

Bihar Board will announce the results for Class 10 in the first week of April. On the result day, the board will hold a press conference to formally announce the results, including the names of the toppers, pass percentages, and other key details. 

After the announcement of the results, students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for revaluation through the BSEB website within the specified time frame.

In 2024, 12,91,684 students took the exam, achieving an overall pass percentage of 87.21 per cent. The science stream recorded a pass percentage of 87.80 per cent, commerce students achieved 94.88 per cent, and the arts stream registered 86.15 per cent.

Last year, the Bihar Board Class 12 exams concluded on February 12, and the results were announced 40 days later, on March 23. Similarly, in 2023, the exams began on February 11, and the results were declared on March 21, marking a 38-day gap.

Students must score at least 33 per cent in each theory subject and 40 per cent in practical to pass. Those who score less than 33 per cent in more than two subjects will not pass.

You will have to enter your roll number in the space provided along with other details

Once the correct details are entered, the Class 10 result will be displayed on the screen after clicking on submit

Step 3: Enter your roll number and date of birth in the required fields.

Step 4: Submit the details to view the result.

The Bihar Board Class 12 exams were conducted from February 1 to February 15, 2025, with a total of 12,92,313 students appearing for the exams. This includes 6,41,847 female students and 6,50,466 male students. 

BSEB Chairman Anand Kishor released an official statement noting that the Bihar Board results will be announced by the Education Minister Sunil Kumar. As per the official notice, the results of Class 12 will be out on March 25 around 1:15 pm. The result announcement event will also be attended by Bihar Education Ministry's S Siddharth.
